   In the development of a design, once the challenge (the need) to be solved, in order to study the possible solutions and choosing one of them, we must make as freehand drawings (sketches) as necessary, until deciding which of them will serve us as a start to carry  out our project.

   We get started with a first idea:

   That we´ll be refine, in more details, better drawn, with approximate measurements, deciding materials...:

   We collect and compare all together:

   And we decide which is the best one to work with. In our green vehicle case, one of them with wheels and the other without them:

OUR GREEN CAR (MOVED BY AIR)

     This is going to be our first project in the workshop. The design will depend on you and your imagination (the image is only a little bit of help).

     Each group has to make two diferent vehicles: one with wheels and another one without wheels. But both have to be green.

     This project begins drawing several sketches and finishes making a workshop layout of your final works. I´ll bring you all the materials that appear in the image, so the rest depends on you.

     Here we´ll publish the best projects of them and a video of the races we´ll organize in class with your selected prototypes.

WORKING WITH TOOLS

KNOWING OUR TOOLS AT THE WORKSHOP

   We´ll start to work with several tools at our workshop.
   Each group has its own tool panel and we all have this poster on the wall, with pictures of tools that are used at the workshop, with their names included:

   As you know, this new task is to make a table of tools using the writing software in the computers of the class (Libreoffice / Openoffice).

   Remember that have to be included:

     - A picture of the tool.

     - Its name in Spanish and in English.

     - A short description of its use.

     - All the tools you have on your particular panel, in the beginning of the table. It´s the way I have to be sure that it´s a brand new table done this curse.

   Don´t forget to upload the document to your Drive and link it from a new post in your blog.

CREATING A VOKI (VOLUNTARY TASK)

     AN ADVISE BY YOUR VOKI

     This new task is to create a VOKI into your blog, which gives advice on "SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE USE ON THE NETWORK". It is an image we can retouch, that moves the eyes by sliding the mouse and to whom we can give voice.
      Watch and listen to the example we have in this class blog.

    IMPORTANT!

     - Para empezar a usar el programa, utiliza únicamente la opción gratuita. Ésta sólo te permitirá usar algunos modelos y algunas opciones de caracterización, pero no importa, usa alguna de ésas.
     Sigue el siguiente proceso:
1.- Pincha en el dado varias veces, hasta que te salga un personaje que no tenga ninguna restricción y te pueda valer (no uses ninguno con una banda azul en su esquina superior izquierda o con la estrella dorada)
2.- Personaliza tu personaje, caracterizándolo y, desde el teclado, escribiendo el texto completo para realizar la tarea pedida (asegúrate de marcar el idioma "English". Cuando lo termines pulsas "Done" y después "Publish". Te aparecerá la siguiente pantalla, donde escribes un título y vuelves a pinchar en "Save"

4.- Te aparacerá la siguiente imagen, donde seleccionamos el enlace desde la opción marcada:

     - To insert it into the blog, we have to create a new Gadget (Gadget imagen), where we´ll include a cut .jpg of our character and, linked, our VOKI URL, so that the appearance of our work is similar to the one in the class blog. Don´t forget the headline ADVICES ABOUT USING ON THE INTERNET.

Ya debes saber que hay que proporcionar mínima información sobre ti en cualquier repositorio o red social y claro, también en tu blog. Debes resistir la tentación, es por tu seguridad.

Por tanto, en tu blog, en la sección PERFIL, incluye datos que no te identifiquen, pero no mientas ni inventes datos. Para la foto de tu perfil, puedes elegir un pictograma o imagen que en el lenguaje de Internet se llama AVATAR (ó alter-ego). Algunas ideas para ser original y crear tu propio avatar:

• Portrait Ilustration Maker: crea tu avatar personalizando una serie de elementos.
• ArtisanCam. Crea tu retrato robot.

• Face your manga. Crea tu "mangatar". ¡Muy simpático!.

• Digibody: Crea tu avatar arrastrando los elementos que se te ofrecen, además puedes redimensionarlos o desplazarlos.

• Bloc head Iconizer: Crea tu avatar con formas de bloques como los Legos.
• Paper Critters: Dibuja muñecos de papel en 3D.

• Pocoyízate. Tu avatar en forma de Pocoyó.

• Simpsons Avatar: Crea tu avatar con el look de los Simpson.

• Picassohead: Tu cara cubista, al estilo de Picasso.

• Build your wild self: Crea tu avatar "salvaje".

• DoppelMe: Avatares muy fáciles de construir.

• My Pictr: Nos adapta las fotografías para crear nuestra imagen de perfil o avatar en numerosas aplicaciones y redes sociales. Para no romperse la cabeza con el tamaño adecuado. Esta aplicación NO PERMITE MANIPULAR TU IMAGEN, por tanto es SÓLO para dimensionar tu avatar, no para crearlo.
• Ultimate Flas Face: crea tu retrato fácilmente utilizando los patrones de rasgos faciales que tiene el programa. Es sólo en blanco y negro.
  
• Pimp the face: Con este programa puedes crear tu cara desde cero pero... también puedes "calcar" a partir de una fotografía tuya, eso sí, con mucha paciencia, irás añadiendo las cejas, nariz... lo más parecidas a las tuyas. En la primera pantalla tienes unos vídeos demostrativos.

Tarea -AVATAR - :

¡Ala, quiero ver un lustroso AVATAR en vuestros blogs y cuentas de Google!. Como sois seguidores del blog de clase, sabré si habéis hecho la tarea adecuadamente. De todas formas, tenéis que publicar en vuestro blog un artículo con la imagen de vuestro avatar y un enlace al programa con el que habéis decidido hacerlo. ¡Es más divertido que publicar vuestra foto!

Si necesitas hacer una CAPTURA DE PANTALLA.
Y si necesitas editar tu avatar (recortar, cambiar tamaño...) usa PICMONKEY ó PAINT.

CREATING YOUR OWN BLOG (YOUR PORTFOLIO)

   Cada alumno vais a crear vuestro propio blog de clase. Será vuestro PORTFOLIO, es decir, vuestro cuaderno digital de trabajos.
   Os servirá como soporte, almacenamiento y publicación de alguna de las tareas que realizaréis de aquí a final de curso.
   Podréis enseñárselo a vuestros compañeros, amigos y familiares.
   Lo vamos a hacer en BLOGGER.

   Si queréis ver algún ejemplo, redordad que ya tenemos creado un blog de clase:

   Y ahora, a diseñar tu blog y a publicar, como mínimo:

• Mensaje de bienvenida a tu blog: el primer artículo de vuestro blog.

• Tenéis también que enviarme un correo a mi cuenta gmail con la URL de vuestro blog, de esa forma podré enlazar, al blog de clase, todos vuestros blogs.

   Y después, configura tu blog siguiendo las siguientes consejos:

Aunque hay muchas opciones para ver, vamos a revisar las opciones de CONFIGURACIÓN más elementales que debéis comprobar en vuestros blogs. Ya sabéis que tenéis que entrar desde vuestro blog en PERSONALIZAR y elegir la pestaña CONFIGURACIÓN. No olvidéis GRABAR cada vez que modificáis un apartado.

• Descripción. Puede añadirse o modificarse.
• Contenido para adultos: NO. Evidentemente, si el contenido no fuera apto para menores deberíais poner SI.

COMENTARIOS>

• Comentarios: Mostrar.
• Personas que pueden realizar los comentarios: Cualquiera (siempre que moderéis los comentarios antes de su publicación).
• Moderación de comentarios: Siempre. Así evitarás que algún TROLL te insulte y se publique automáticamente. Por cierto, si mientras lo cambias tienes algún troll, no le contestes nunca y tu, como administrador de tu blog, puedes eliminar su comentario.
• ¿Mostrar verificación de la palabra para comentarios? SI. Así evitaréis comentarios automáticos desde ordenadores.
